On 2-3 July in Milan and under the theme of “Growth and Legacy in a New Paradigm”, the 16th edition of Europe’s most prestigious families in business conference will take place - and at a time of extraordinary transformation; the momentum of the fourth industrial revolution and armoury of digital economy developments is disrupting all industries, sustainability and social trust is becoming central to the conduct of business, and millennials along with Gen Z represent an enduring demographic change.

On the one hand, there is tremendous optimism about future growth, developing the right strategy to sustain it, and the opportunities for enlisting the help of the next generation.

On the other, concerns about changing business models, the challenges and tests of transition, the innovation and skills gap, and the need to protect the family continue.

Under the co-chairmanship of Lamberto Frescobaldi – the 30th generation and President of one the of the oldest family businesses globally, Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi – the forum will draw on first-hand experiences on these very real family business challenges and discuss the issues and decisions that were made, focusing on delivering practical takeaways.

The initiative is invitation only for qualifying business-owning families and takes place under Chatham House rules.
